Common questions
What is the deadline for an administrative grievance?
Under Article 7 of Law No. 20 of 1981, you file the grievance within 60 days of learning of the decision. The authority has 60 days to reply and silence counts as rejection; the lawsuit then follows within 60 days of the rejection.
Do I have to wait for the ministry to open grievances?
No. The right comes from the law, not from a ministry announcement, and what counts is when you were notified or knew of the decision for certain.
Can I see my suspension decision and investigation records?
An employee has a clear interest in seeing what affects his position, and the court ordered our client’s employer to hand over the documents.
